GeneXus 15 has been released!

Intelligent integration of the various technological elements that make up the digital revolution is the essence of GeneXus 15.

One year after the release of the first bits of GeneXus Salto Beta 1, the new features added to the revamped version included software development optimizations such as Live Editing and enhanced data modeling. Now, in our most important annual event we’ve released the most full-featured version of GeneXus so far.

Digital Transformation: With GeneXus 15, the Community will assist companies by making digital transformation easier. This new version provides more options for data management and dynamic transactions, as well as more Cloud Platform providers (that is to say, Amazon Web Services, Google App Engine, IBM Bluemix, Microsoft Azure, SAP Hana Cloud Platform) to choose from.

New integration solutions: Simplifying interoperation between different business systems has always been one of GeneXus’ major concerns, and that’s why we’ve added a new set of tools that will help developers quickly integrate various systems. Among them are SAP HANA and OpenAPI.

Automagically: GeneXus 15 offers Live Editing technology. “In this new version we have greatly enhanced the user’s experience, to make mobile apps more appealing and develop them faster,” said Nicolás Jodal, and added: “Also, the system has a much more robust security layer, which can be adapted to Government, Cloud, Big Data, or IoT systems.”

GeneXus 15 is a whole new experience from the start! The renovation of its user-centered design can be seen from the setup to the IDE. In addition, it includes many new improvements for teamwork with GeneXus Server and the solutions generated for Web, Mobile and Workflow platforms.
